Studio rules
- Cards come from a four-deck shoe. Face cards count as 10. An ace counts as 11 unless that would pass 21, in which case it counts as 1.
- The host stands on every 17, including a soft 17. The host draws while under 17 if a live hand still needs a comparison.
- A two-card 21 on the opening hand returns 3 for 2 when the host does not also have one. If both do, the play amount comes back.
- An ordinary win returns the play amount together with an equal result. A tie returns the play amount. A hand that passes 21 returns nothing, and the host does not draw for that hand alone.
- Double sets the play amount aside again and takes one card, then stands.
- Split is offered once, when the first two cards share a rank. Each hand then receives a card. Split aces receive one card and stand. A two-card 21 after a split does not use the 3 for 2 result.
- Insurance is not offered.
